TRAVEL INFORMATION
By car: The showground is well connected by road. Just set your Satnav for BA4 6QN. The showground venue benefits from a huge, security-patrolled car park. You can either book in advance for Fast Track entry into the car park HERE or pay in the normal way at the car park entrance.
By train: With the events running times adjusting this year, trains will no longer be running when the event closes. WE HIGHLY recommend travelling by coach, cab or driving. The last shuttle bus from Westfest back to the station is at 8:30pm – after that, there are no further trains until 10am on Sunday. The nearest train station is Castle Cary, with services from Bristol and London. Shuttle buses will run from here to the venue before the event with the final return to Castle Cary at 8:30pm. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WALK TO THE EVENT FROM THE TRAIN STATION – FULL INFO HERE.
By coach: WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING A COACH TO THE EVENT – Do not leave it to the last-minute before you book a coach place, as it’s possible that you may not be able to find an operator with spaces available. Book in advance as much as possible to avoid disappointment and remember that all coaches are of limited availability and are on a demand basis only HERE.
By foot: Please do not attempt to walk to the site along the very busy local main roads. There are no pavements and traffic moves at very high speeds.
