With 14,800 square metres of trade space, 300 + trade stands, over 6,000 visitors, upwards of 300 competitive cattle entries, a compelling programme of seminars & speakers addressing livestock housing PLUS free parking; The Dairy Show truly does live up to its billing as the Largest Farming Event in the South West!
Taking place at the Bath & West Showground, Somerset on Wednesday 2 October 2019, The Dairy Show is an essential date in the farming calendar, combining a comprehensive trade show with an exhibition of world class dairy cattle, and is delighted that once again it will be home to the National Shows of the Jersey Cattle Society of the UK and the English Guernsey Cattle Society.
The Show’s national significance is exemplified by the fact that it attracts over 300 trade stands from the UK and beyond, representing businesses from across the agricultural industry.
With so many movers and shakers in attendance the event offers the perfect, profitable networking opportunity, while topical seminars on livestock housing provide plenty of food for thought and discussion throughout the day. This year’s speakers include Duncan Forbes (Dairy Research Director at Kingshay), Matt Sellers & Mike Bryan (Galebreaker Group Ltd) and Mike Steele (Micron Bio-Systems, Director Technical Services).
Dairy cattle are at the heart of the show with over 300 entries representing the six main breeds, plus classes for calves and Junior Showmanship to encourage the exhibitors of the future.
Tickets are on sale now from www.bathandwest.com/tickets at £15 and £13 for students. All visitors pay £17 on the gate.
