Join us for an evening with Amanda Owen – The Yorkshire Shepherdess
Amanda is a shepherdess, farmer’s wife, mother to nine children, a passionate photographer and a Sunday Times bestselling author. Amanda and her family live a life that has almost gone in today’s modern world, one ruled by the seasons and her animals. Home is Ravenseat, a 2000 acre hill farm at the head of Swaledale, North Yorkshire, one of the highest, most remote places in England.
Amanda, her husband Clive, and of course their nine children, recently appeared in their very own TV series, called ‘Our Yorkshire Farm’. The 4 part series documented life on Ravenseat Farm over a 12 month period, with each episode spanning a single season, and explored how the family cope with the challenges of their remarkable life out in the wilds.
Doors open at 6:45pm, with a welcome drink on arrival and a pasty supper included in your ticket price. A licensed bar will be open for the evening.
